Lumenesce (Alternative Media) These artworks have evolved from the pre-existing "Alternative Media" series. Throughout this body of work, digitally-printed acrylic images are hand-embellished with iridescent and shimmering accents. These works feature organic forms which are then abstracted into multi-layered compositions. The series title, "Lumenesce", refers to naturally occurring phenomena such as bioluminescence. Each work in the series is suffused with a soft glow, forming unique works which reveal the intimate nature of the artistic process. |
